Favorite Game: Skyrim

What kind of video games do you play? Do you spend a lot of time playing video games?

I usually play games that give me a good multiplayer game. Although I play almost everything, I prefer coop or multiplayer games (like A Long Survive haha).

What was your first encounter with video games? Was it the video game that made you fall in love with them?

The Pokémon saga, in particular the green leaf Pokémon for GBA, that’s where it all started.

How much experience do you have in the video game industry? What was the biggest challenge you have faced?

3 years. And where I have had the biggest challenges have been in this studio, since that is where I am learning the most, and where I am specializing the most.

Who is your favorite video game character? Do you think you are related to him/her?

Ezio (Assassin’s Creed Saga) was a character that also marked me a lot, for me the best trilogy in video games, is a character that is “the chosen one”.

Imagine you could mix two video games into one, and the end result would be good. Which ones would you mix?

Skyrim, and how well done and loved Red Dead Redemption is.

If you had to decide on a video game world to live in, what would it be?

I think none of them, I’m too bad at video games and it would last less than 2 minutes… hahaha.

What is it like to work at Friendly Fire Studios? Tell us some interesting anecdotes.

It’s like working with lifelong friends, all day laughing, learning from each other and a lot of camaraderie. A good anecdote is the day we spent at DreamHack Valencia, where we strengthened bonds as a team and began to fully understand each other and start working as a consolidated studio.

About A long Survive

Tell about a recent development challenge you have encountered and how you solved it.

Character heads… facial expressions are an odyssey where it is impossible to get the nose or mouth you really want. Now I have more experience and I am getting good results.

Do you have any interesting details about the development process that you can share?

Any part of the development is interesting, the artistic part always has something that makes you think and brings out your creative side, where I says something like “What if I do it like this, what if I put this texture…” each model is a different world.

Which mechanics of A Long Survive do you find most fun or innovative?

The use of manual turrets, the perfect place to totally kill those damn Zeprex and their creepy sounds.

As a player, what do you think would be your role or focus when playing A Long Survive? What do you think would be the role of the rest of the team?

In A Long Survive, I would probably be like the medic, I am one of those who dodge bullets and grenades to save my fallen comrade.

Soon we will publish more about the members of Friendly Fire Studios, stay tuned.
